Tidal Winds is a family business that specializes in the breeding of rare exotic game and some colour variants.

Our family has a very long history in farming. We are forth/fifth generation farmers. My great - great grandfather arrived in 1802 in the Griqualand West region (Northern Cape). Game breeding is the newest addition to our family business. The game industry has progressed in leaps and bounds over the last 20 years.

At Tidal Winds our focus is to select the right genetics from the top breeders in the industry to ensure that we have the necessary diverse genetics available for our own breeding program. We strongly believe that a diverse genetic pool is the foundation of the breeding program on which you build. Building blocks such as science, heard manship and selective breeding practices are used to breed super big, super healthy and well adapted game. Our long-term goal is to restore the species to their former glory in years gone by.

We believe that conservation and hunting are the two core components of sustainable development of the game species. You cannot have the one without the other.
